I got my first camera for Christmas when I was 14, and from that moment on, I was hooked. I took pictures of everything and constantly roped my friends and family into styled photoshoots—bless them for always saying yes! My love for photography kept growing, and I studied it in college for two years before a lot of prayer and reflection led me down a different path. I became a history teacher and taught for five years, all while walking through a long season of infertility. When we finally got to adopt our beautiful little boy, I decided to step away from the classroom and pursue photography full time—something that works perfectly with being a mom.
Now, I get to do what I love while being present with my family, and I’m so grateful. My husband is my biggest cheerleader, and my son is my little shadow, always eager to “help” me take photos. I’ve loved getting to serve so many amazing clients over the years—capturing brands, couples, families, and especially kids (the teacher in me can’t help it!). Your story matters, and I’d be honored to help you tell it.
